Six Month Old Apple iPhone 6 Outperforms Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung is releasing their newest line up of smart phones the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge on April 10th, unfortunately they didn’t make smart choices. According to a recent article from AppleInsider the new Samsung phones are not even at par with Apple’s 6 month old iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, in fact they are significantly lower. Despite the fact that the Galaxy S6 is equipped with a 8-Core 2.4 GHz processor in comparison to the iPhone 6’s 2-core 64-bit 1.4 GHz processor. This is quite embarrassing considering these are Samsung’s newest flagship phones. It boils down to bad engineering, lack of hardware quality due to cutting cost and software integration. These are all things Apple excels at.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs. Apple iPhone 6

The hard truth is that the extra pixels on the Galaxy devices, which they claim is near 4K quality is not needed and cannot be seen by the human eye alone. The point of Apple’s Retina and now Retina HD displays it that the pixels are so small, the average human eye cannot differentiate between them. Why would you watch a 4K quality movie on a screen only 5.1 inches? The point of 4K is to see higher definition in larger displays, the kind of displays you can actually appreciate the additional pixels. The largest storage available on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is 128GB, there is no SD card slot as it’s been removed on these newest phones. A 4K movie will be no less then 100GB in size, depending on length, the first available 4K movie for download is 160GB.

How will you play a movie you can’t even fit on the device? Do you often use a microscope to view your phone screen? Would you rather view a 4K movie on 5.1 inches or 70 inches? Share what you think by commenting below and tweeting your opinions! Staff
